TODAY I WAS ANNOYED WITH TELEPHONE INFORMATION, BECAUSE AS USUAL THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO GIVE ME THE NUMBER I NEEDED BUT I WOULD STILL HAVE TO PAY $1.00 FOR NO SERVICE. BUT THANKS TO MY FRIEND ROSE E. I CAN RETALIATE BY GIVING EVERYONE THIS INFORMATION.  I HAVE PERSONALLY TRIED IT AND IT DOES WORK.  YOU HAVE TO TALK TO A ROBOT BUT THEN IT HAD AS MUCH PERSONALITY AS THE OPERATOR.

When you need to use the 411 / information option, simply dial 1 800 FREE 411 or 1 800 373 3411 without incurring a charge at all except for the minutes required to make the call.
